Biokleen states Bac-Out is plant-based with no artificial fragrances or dyes and no phosphates, chlorine, ammonia or brighteners, and the lime scent is naturally derived rather than added perfume. Functionally it does the same enzymatic job as the mainstream options, and owners report it working on pet stains and odours while being usable for laundry and general cleaning too — which is genuinely handy during house training, when the crate liner, the bed cover and the rug all need the same treatment.
