The distinguishing feature Blue Buffalo names is LifeSource Bits — a separately processed blend of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals including DHA and ARA, which they say is formed at a lower temperature to preserve potency. Whether that processing detail matters is not something we can test; the DHA rationale for a developing brain is at least well established. Owner feedback is broadly positive on quality and value, with the usual honest split: some dogs refuse it, and some owners report loose stools — which is very often a too-fast transition rather than the food. Move over a full week.
