- Who it’s for

- Who should skip it
- Your bed's own cover is already waterproof, or the foam core is not a standard rectangle you can measure.
The verdict
An orthopedic bed is the expensive purchase on this shelf, and what ruins one is rarely wear. It is a single night. Furhaven describes this as a water-resistant coated liner that sits between the foam core and the outer cover, protecting against spills, stains and allergens. It is sold Small through Jumbo Plus, and Furhaven states plainly that you should measure your existing foam core rather than trust the size on the bed; the Large is given as fitting a 36 by 27 by 3 inch mattress. That instruction is the whole risk here, because a liner one size out is a liner that bunches under the dog. It is not a substitute for a washable cover and it does not make a bed waterproof. It buys the foam a second chance.
Drawbacks
- Furhaven says to measure the foam core rather than the bed, and a size guess will bunch
- Water-resistant is not waterproof, and it is no help at all against chewing

What the listing says
- Protects the part of a bed you cannot wash — the foam core itself
- Five sizes, so it can be matched to a bed you already own

This is an add-on. It is here to go alongside JOYELF Memory Foam Bolster, not to replace it — buy the main thing first and this second.
