The company cites a University of Pennsylvania veterinary study on its own site; we treat that as a manufacturer claim rather than repeating it as fact, and note that the foam depth itself is the thing an arthritic dog feels. What the owner feedback describes is a bed that keeps its shape in year three, which is where cheaper beds fail a heavy dog. It is the upgrade pick because it costs what it costs.
