Tractive claim live updates every two to three seconds during tracking with unlimited range, virtual fences with escape alerts, location history, and monitoring of heart and respiratory rate and barking patterns. The vitals features are the newest and least proven part of the pitch — treat them as an interesting extra, not a diagnostic. IPX7, 1.23 ounces, rated for dogs over 8 pounds. Owners report accuracy within roughly 10 to 20 feet, an intuitive app, and specifically note the subscription costing less than rivals, which over three years is the number that decides this category. The trade-off is battery: days rather than the weeks the collar-integrated trackers claim.
