Itchy or sensitive skin at any age — soap-free and pH-balanced, with colloidal oatmeal and aloe.
Who should skip it
Your dog has a diagnosed skin condition. Use the medicated shampoo your vet has prescribed instead.

The verdict

The everyday shampoo that suits the widest range of dogs, and the reason is what it leaves out. Soap-free and pH-balanced for canine skin, with colloidal oatmeal and organic aloe, and free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates and dyes. That matters most at the two ends of a dog's life: young skin that has never been washed, and old skin that has become drier and thinner with age. Owners report it working well for sensitive skin, cleaning and moisturising without stripping, leaving coats soft, and rinsing out easily — the last being an underrated property, since residue is itself a cause of itching. One owner note that it can be used daily on puppies is not licence to bathe often; less is usually more. If itching persists after a bath, that is a vet conversation, not a shampoo problem.

Drawbacks

  • Not a medicated shampoo — no substitute for a prescribed one
  • More expensive than supermarket dog shampoos

Researched from the manufacturer’s listing, its published specifications and what owners report. We do not test products on dogs.
