KONG's own listing lists what it is aimed at — chewing, teething, boredom, crate training, digging and barking — which is an unusually honest description of what the toy actually does: it occupies a dog who has nothing better to do. Stuff it with kibble and something sticky, freeze it overnight, and you have thirty to forty-five minutes of quiet, which is how most people get through crate training, alone-time practice and the working-from-home afternoon.
